What You Should Know
Click a color — everything similar changes with it
The tool captures the exact color you click, then replaces all pixels that fall within a tolerance range around that color. Edges, shadows, and neighboring hues stay untouched — which is what makes it safe for logos. You swap one specific color family without affecting anything else in the image.
Targeting one hex, not shifting everything
Color Adjustment moves every color in the image — it shifts hue, saturation, and brightness globally. Color Replacement targets a specific color and leaves the rest alone. If you know the exact color you need to change — your brand blue, a product color, a background that strayed off-brand — use this tool, not Color Adjustment.
One photo shoot, every color variant
If you sell a product in five colors but only photographed one, you can produce all five variants by replacing the product color each time. It works cleanly on flat surfaces — plastic, powder-coat, solid fabric. Complex textures and gradients don't replace predictably because the 'color' there is really lighting variation rather than a consistent hue.
Tolerance — How Precise Does the Replacement Need to Be?
Low Tolerance (5–15)
Surgical — exact matches only
- Only replaces pixels very close to the target hex
- Best for clean, flat logo colors
- Leaves anti-aliased edges mostly untouched
- Right for designs where exact color separation matters
Logos with flat solid colors, digital illustrations, brand assets
Scanned logos or images where color isn't perfectly uniform
High Tolerance (30–60)
Broad — captures similar shades
- Captures a wider range of similar-toned pixels
- Handles scanned logos where one "color" varies slightly
- Good for product photos shot under different lighting
- Anti-aliased edges and gradients blend more smoothly
Scanned logos, product photography color variants, illustrations with shading
Logos with two similar colors where you only want to change one

Example Images to Recolor
Flat, solid-color surfaces replace cleanly. Upload any of these types and try swapping the color.
E-commerce variantFlat red sole and upper replace in seconds. Tolerance 15–25 covers the full color without bleeding into the white sole edge.
Apparel mockupSolid fabric colors swap cleanly. Complex folds and shadow gradients stay untouched — the hue shifts but the shape holds.
Product recolorSolid ceramic surfaces are ideal — one click targets the whole body. Use tolerance 10–20 to keep the handle and rim separate.

The jobs the editor was built around — and what it does differently on each one.
Colourways you can revisit
Every edit is a layer, not a bake. When the brand shifts, reopen the file and change the colour rather than rebuilding the variant from the original.
Cutouts with awkward edges
AI background removal that keeps hair, foliage and soft shadows instead of stamping a hard outline around them. The output is a transparent PNG, ready to place.
No export, edit, re-import loop
The Framer plugin runs on the canvas you are already working in, so a recolour or a cutout does not mean a round trip through a second application.
Ten options in the time one used to take
Recolour once and step through the alternatives, so a client review can look at the whole range instead of the one version there was time to make.
Brand colours matched exactly
Pick a colour straight off an existing asset and get the hex, rather than eyeballing it against a screenshot and hoping it is close enough.
Free to preview, priced per export
Previewing is unlimited and costs nothing. A credit is spent only when you download a full-resolution file, so exploring an idea is never the expensive part.
