Terms of Service

Last updated:

1. Agreement to these Terms

These Terms of Service govern your use of ICC Images (the “Service”), provided by SC QWERTYBIT SRL (“we”, “us”, or “our”), a company registered in Romania at 16, Constantin Voda, Bucharest, RO. By using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree to them, please do not use the Service.

The Service was previously called “ColorChanger”. It is the same service under a new name.

2. What the Service is

ICC Images is a browser-based image and logo editor. It recolours images, removes and replaces backgrounds, resizes and crops for specific platforms, converts between file formats, and generates images and logos using artificial intelligence. It is available as a web application, as a set of single-purpose tools on this website, and as plugins published in the Framer marketplace.

Many operations run entirely in your own browser and never transmit your image to us. Others — principally the AI features — require your image to be sent to us and to the AI providers we use. Our Privacy Policy sets out exactly which is which.

3. Accounts

You can upload, edit and preview images without an account. An account is required to download a full-resolution file and to use features that spend credits. You may sign in with Google or with a one-time code sent to your email address.

You are responsible for the activity that takes place under your account and for keeping access to your email address and Google account secure. Tell us at hello@image-color-changer.com if you believe your account has been used without your permission. You must be at least 16 years old to create an account.

4. Credits, plans and prices

Editing images and downloading reduced-size previews are free and unlimited, and require no account. Credits are spent only on full-resolution exports and on AI features. Creating an account does not grant any free credits; the first credit is a purchased credit.

We offer one-time credit packs — 3 credits for €0.99, 15 for €2.99, and 50 for €6.99. Purchased credits do not expire. We also offer subscriptions: Pro at €4.99 per month, which allocates 150 credits each billing cycle, and Unlimited at €8.99 per month or €69 per year, which covers unlimited standard editing and exports.

Subscription credits are allocated per billing period and do not roll over into the next one. Every editing tool is available on every plan; plans differ in how much you can export and how the AI features are billed, not in which tools you may use.

Current prices are always those shown on the pricing page at the moment of purchase. We may change prices for future purchases; a change never affects credits you have already bought, and any change to a recurring subscription price will be notified to you before it takes effect, with the opportunity to cancel.

5. Fair use on the Unlimited plans

“Unlimited” refers to standard editing and exporting, which are genuinely uncapped. The AI features carry per-calendar-month fair-use ceilings, because each one costs us money per run: 100 AI background removals, 100 AI logo generations, 100 AI image generations, 25 AI image upscales and 25 AI object removals per month.

These ceilings exist to prevent automated or resale-scale use, not to restrict ordinary work. If you reach one, you can continue using that feature by spending credits. We may contact you before taking any action if usage looks automated.

6. Payment, VAT and invoices

Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not receive or store your full card details. You must be authorised to use the payment method you provide.

Prices shown are VAT-inclusive: the amount displayed is the amount you pay. Where VAT is due, Romanian VAT at 21% is carved out of that amount rather than added to it, so there is no additional charge at checkout. VAT applies to buyers in the European Union. Buyers outside the EU are not charged EU VAT, and the same displayed price applies. Stripe issues a receipt for every payment.

7. Renewal, cancellation and refunds

Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from your account’s billing settings, which opens the Stripe customer portal. Cancelling stops the next renewal; it does not end the period you have already paid for, and you keep access until that period expires. One-time credit packs are a single charge and do not renew.

EU right of withdrawal, and what it means here. If you are a consumer in the EU you normally have 14 days to withdraw from a distance contract. Credits and subscriptions are digital content supplied immediately: by completing a purchase, you ask us to begin supply at once and you acknowledge that you lose the right of withdrawal once supply has begun. In practice this means the withdrawal right remains available for any credits you have not yet spent, and is lost for those you have.

Beyond that, we would rather have a fair outcome than a technically correct one. If something did not work, you bought the wrong thing, or you were charged for a renewal you did not intend, write to hello@image-color-changer.com within 14 days of the charge and we will refund unused credits or an unused portion of a subscription period. Refunds go back to the original payment method.

8. Your images and your rights

You keep every right you already had in the images you upload. We claim no ownership of your content and no licence to it beyond what is technically necessary to run the operation you asked for — processing it, returning the result, and where an AI feature is involved, transmitting it to the AI provider that performs the operation.

We do not use your images to train AI models, and we do not sell them or share them for advertising. You must have the right to use the images you upload: do not upload material you do not own or have permission to edit.

9. AI features

Some features — background removal, object removal, image upscaling, logo generation and image generation — run on third-party AI models. To use them, your image or prompt is transmitted to the relevant provider. These features are billed per use.

As between you and us, the output of an AI feature is yours to use, including commercially. Three honest limitations apply to that, and they apply to every generative tool, not only ours:

  • Output is not unique. A generative model may produce similar results for other users with similar prompts. We cannot promise that any generated image or logo is original, and it should not be relied on as such without your own checks.
  • Trade mark protection is your responsibility. Whether a generated logo can be registered or used in a given market is a legal question about your market and your sector. We do not advise on it and we do not clear it.
  • Results vary. AI output is probabilistic. A run that does not give you what you wanted is not a fault in the Service. Where a feature grants free attempts before a credit is spent, that is how we try to keep this fair.

You may not use the AI features to create material that is unlawful, that depicts a real person without their consent, or that is designed to impersonate a person or an organisation.

10. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • upload or produce material that is unlawful, infringing, defamatory, or sexually exploitative of minors;
  • edit an image in order to deceive — forging a document, a signature, an official stamp, or evidence of something that did not happen;
  • infringe anyone’s copyright, trade mark, privacy or other rights;
  • circumvent credit accounting, create multiple accounts to obtain benefits intended once per person, or resell access to the Service;
  • scrape, automate, overload or otherwise interfere with the Service or the infrastructure it runs on.

The Service includes tools for producing signatures and stamps from images you already have. They exist for legitimate document work — cleaning up a scan of your own signature, or your own organisation’s stamp. Using them to fabricate someone else’s mark is a breach of these Terms and, in most jurisdictions, a criminal offence.

11. Our intellectual property

The Service itself — its software, design, written content and brand — belongs to QwertyBit and is protected by copyright and other laws. These Terms give you the right to use the Service, not to copy it, resell it, or build a competing product from it.

12. Availability and warranties

We work to keep the Service available and correct, but we provide it “as is”. We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fit for a particular purpose, and we may change, suspend or discontinue features. Where a feature depends on a third-party provider, its availability depends on theirs.

Keep your own copies of your original files. The Service is an editor, not a backup, and you should never rely on it as the only place a file exists.

Nothing in these Terms limits rights you have as a consumer under mandatory law, including under EU consumer protection legislation.

13. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, QwertyBit is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data or goodwill, arising from your use of or inability to use the Service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose.

Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

14. Suspension and termination

You may stop using the Service at any time and may delete your account from your account settings. Deleting your account cancels any active subscription and permanently removes your account data; unspent credits are forfeited on deletion, so use or request a refund for them first.

We may suspend or terminate an account that breaches these Terms, that is used unlawfully, or where continued service would expose us or other users to material risk. Where it is reasonable to do so, we will tell you why and give you a chance to put it right first.

15. Third-party services and plugins

The Service relies on third parties for hosting, payment, email and AI processing. They are named in our Privacy Policy. Our plugins published in the Framer marketplace are also subject to Framer’s own terms as they apply to the marketplace and to your Framer account.

16. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains what we collect, why, who processes it on our behalf, and the rights you have over it. It forms part of these Terms.

17. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. When we do, we change the “Last updated” date at the top of this page, and for changes that materially affect your rights we will give reasonable notice by email or in the application before they take effect. Continuing to use the Service after that point means you accept the updated Terms.

18. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by Romanian law, and the courts of Bucharest, Romania have jurisdiction over any dispute. If you are a consumer resident in the EU, this does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory laws of your own country, and you may bring proceedings there. EU consumers may also use the European Commission’s online dispute resolution platform.

Before any of that, please write to us. Almost everything is quicker to fix directly.
