Export at Exactly the Right Size and Format

01

WebP — the new default for web

Up to 30% smaller than JPG at the same visual quality, and it supports transparency like PNG. Use WebP for any image going on a website or app — every modern browser accepts it.

02

SVG — infinitely scalable for logos & icons

SVGs scale to any size without blurring, are 5–20× smaller than high-res PNGs, and are styleable with CSS. The right choice for any logo or icon, and the expected format for developer handoffs.

03

Custom crop, ratio, or exact pixel size

Use presets for square, banner, or center-crop — or type any width and height in pixels. Quality controls let you fine-tune file size vs. fidelity for fast-loading web assets.

04

Platform-ready dimensions

1200×630 for OG / link previews, 1080×1080 for square posts, 1080×1920 for Stories, 256×256 for app icons, @2x/@3x for retina. Export the exact size, ready to upload.

Export Format Guide

WebP is the new default for web

WebP delivers the same visual quality as JPG at up to 30% smaller file size — and it supports transparency like PNG. Use it for any image destined for a website or app in 2025.

SVG for logos & developer handoffs

SVGs are infinitely scalable, CSS-styleable, and typically 5–20× smaller than a high-res PNG. If you're handing a logo or icon to a developer, SVG is the right format — every web framework and design tool accepts it.

@2x for retina screens

Export at twice your display size for crisp rendering on high-DPI screens. A logo displayed at 200px should be exported at 400px — enter custom dimensions to hit the exact target.

1200×630 for link previews

Open Graph images (Twitter, LinkedIn, Facebook link cards) need at least 1200×630. Smaller images get cropped or downgraded. Export as WebP or JPG for this use case.

WebP, SVG, PNG & JPG — Choosing the Right Format

WebP

Modern web format

  • Up to 30% smaller than JPG at the same visual quality
  • Supports transparency like PNG
  • Supported by all modern browsers (Chrome, Safari, Firefox)
  • Best choice for fast-loading web images in 2025+
Best for

Web images, blog photos, hero images, product shots — whenever file size matters

Not ideal for

Situations requiring guaranteed JPG compatibility (some older tools/CMS)

SVG

Vector — scales to any size

  • Scales infinitely without blur or pixelation
  • Typically 5–20× smaller than a high-res PNG
  • Styleable with CSS, animatable with JS
  • Required by print shops for large-format work
Best for

Web logos, developer handoffs, icons, print-ready assets

Not ideal for

Complex photographs — they don't vectorize cleanly

PNG

Lossless raster

  • Supports transparency (alpha channel)
  • Lossless — no quality degradation on save
  • Sharp edges on logos, text, and icons
  • Widely accepted by every tool and platform
Best for

Logos, icons, UI assets, anything with transparency that must stay lossless

Not ideal for

Photographs where file size matters — use WebP or JPG instead

JPG

Lossy raster

  • No transparency support
  • Lossy compression — 3–5× smaller than PNG at 85% quality
  • Maximum compatibility — every app and platform accepts it
  • Artifacts around sharp edges at high compression
Best for

Photographs and banners where WebP isn't accepted yet

Not ideal for

Logos, icons, anything with transparency or sharp text edges

This has completely changed my workflow. I used to rebuild the same product colorways by hand every time the brand shifted — now it's one file I go back and re-edit.

The background removal is shockingly good. I've tried so many tools and this one actually handles hair and complex edges properly.
